I carved this figure in conjunction with Affection. Both representing Tensegrity movements I practice regularly. Tensegrity is an ever expanding series of physical movements brought forth and introduced by Carlos Castaneda. Please see Affection, for more of the story.
The figures are carved from fluorite and the boxes are hand-made from copper. Chasing an image into metal by a series of light hammer strokes, known as repoussé, was used to create the figures on the lid of each box.
